What is shuttle parking?
Your car at the site, you on the shuttle to the terminal
Shuttle parking means you don't park at the airport itself, but at a secured site nearby, run by Parking Schiphol Four Season Parking Benelux B.V.. You drive there, park your car in the space you're shown, and the shuttle of our parking partner takes you to the Schiphol departure hall. On your return, it works the other way round.
The difference with parking at the airport itself comes down to the land underneath. Parking spaces right by a terminal are scarce and expensive, and you pay for that difference every day. A site a few minutes' drive away costs less, and those few minutes are covered for you by the shuttle.
The difference with valet parking is who does the driving. With valet, you hand over your car at the departure hall and a Parking Schiphol driver parks it for you. With shuttle parking you do that yourself and keep your key — for many travellers, precisely the reason to choose it.
